This study investigates the factors influencing the intention and behavior of lecturers at XYZ University in using Microsoft Teams, utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework. Key constructs examined include Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Learning Value (LV), and Habit (HT). Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to lecturers and students with prior experience using Microsoft Teams and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Conditions, and Habit significantly influence Use Behavior, while the one that significantly influence Behavioral Intention is just Habit alone. Behavioral Intention emerged as a strong predictor of Use Behavior, demonstrating the central role of intention in technology adoption. The study highlights the importance of usability, emotional engagement, and institutional support in fostering sustained adoption of Microsoft Teams. Recommendations for enhancing adoption include improving training programs, ensuring adequate technical support, and integrating features that align with teaching goals and preferences.
Shane Stephen Dylan Salainti, Ronny Hansje Walean Copyright (c) 2025 Shane Stephen Dylan Salainti, Ronny Hansje Walean https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3820 Tue, 08 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Islamic Banking Fiqh: Urgency and Economic Challenges in the System of Islamic Financial Institutions (LKS) in Indonesia https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3859
Islamic banking is a form of financial system based on sharia principles. The urgency of fiqh in Islamic banking is very important because it is a guideline in carrying out transactions in accordance with Islamic law. One of the important aspects in Islamic banking is the application of fiqh muamalah in the products of raising funds (funding), channeling funds (landing) and services (services) in the payment traffic offered. This research uses a qualitative method. Data were collected through literature review, analysis of bank policy documents related to products at Islamic financial institutions (LKS). The result of this study is that although the application of Islamic banking fiqh has been running well, especially in relation to murabahah, mudharabah, musyarakah, ijarah, kafalah, wakalah and hiwalah contracts, it has been applied in accordance with the principles of Islamic banking fiqh. However, there are still some challenges such as the public's not optimal understanding of the concept of Islamic banking, especially in LKS, regulations that continue to evolve, and competition with conventional banking or conventional financial institutions that still require increased education to the public as well as strengthening regulations to ensure compliance with sharia principles. To be able to contribute to the development of Islamic banking specifically in the field of LKS in Indonesia.
Tentiyo Suharto Copyright (c) 2025 Tentiyo Suharto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3859 Sun, 27 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Sharia Compliance in Manure Trade: A Case Study of Sellers’ and Buyers’ Knowledge in Pedekik Village https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3842
This study analyzes the implementation of sellers’ and buyers’ knowledge of the pillars of buying and selling manure in Pedekik Village from an Islamic economic perspective. In Islamic transactions (muamalah), buying and selling must meet valid legal requirements to ensure fairness, transparency, and blessings. The research employs a qualitative case study approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. Research subjects include six sellers and five buyers of manure. The findings show that most participants possess limited understanding of Islamic legal provisions, particularly concerning the validity of the transaction object. Unprocessed manure, classified as impure (najis), is frequently traded without proper processing, violating Islamic commercial law. Some actors—especially those with religious or agricultural education—understand that manure must undergo fermentation before it is lawful to trade. This disparity reflects a lack of access to Islamic education, insufficient religious guidance, and minimal entrepreneurial training aligned with sharia. Consequently, many sale and purchase practices remain inconsistent with Islamic principles. From an Islamic economic standpoint, manure may only be sold if it offers clear utility and meets requirements of purity and lawful ownership. The study highlights the need for community education and structured training programs to improve shariacompliant commercial awareness. Collaboration between local authorities, religious leaders, and agricultural extension workers is essential to strengthen knowledge of Islamic economic ethics. Enhancing understanding of valid transactions will help ensure future trade practices in Pedekik Village reflect justice, mutual benefit, and the spirit of halal commerce.
Keywords: Sale and Purchase, Manure, Islamic Economics, Community Knowledge, Transaction Terms.
Sri Wahyuningsih Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Wahyuningsih https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3842 Sun, 27 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Analysis of Strengthening the Regulation on the Handling of Corruption Evidence and Asset Forfeiture for the Economic Recovery of State Finances in the Perspective of Islamic Law https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3858
The handling of corruption evidence and asset forfeiture has a crucial role in efforts to restore the economy and state finances. Regulations governing this process must be strengthened to be more effective in recovering state losses and providing a deterrent effect for perpetrators. This study analyzes the strengthening of regulations related to the handling of evidence and seizure of corruption assets from the perspective of Islamic law. With a normative approach and literature study, this research compares existing regulations with the principles of Islamic law that emphasize justice, benefit, and transparency in managing the proceeds of crime. The results show that Islamic law has a concept of confiscation of illicit assets that is in line with the aim of restoring the country's economy. Therefore, strengthening regulations can be done by adopting the values of Islamic law in the national legal system to create a fairer and more effective mechanism in combating corruption.
Abdul Saman Nst Copyright (c) 2025 Abdul Saman Nst https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3858 Sun, 27 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Determinants of the Unemployment Rate in Bali during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3711
Unemployment is a social problem that hinders economic growth, including in Bali Province. A high unemployment rate has implications for low-income regions. This study aims to analyze the determinants that affect Bali's unemployment rate via projected population indicators, average length of schooling, and life expectancy. The quantitative method was used to examine secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. The data were analyzed via multiple linear regression. The results show that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the increase in population projections, average length of schooling, and life expectancy directly affected the unemployment rate, with an effect size of 89.3%. Furthermore, simultaneous testing revealed an impact between these three indicators and the unemployment rate in Bali during 2020, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a probability of 0.000. In contrast to the partial results, we found that the unemployment rate was affected only by an increase in the projected population. In contrast, the average length of schooling and life expectancy did not have a direct influence. Thus, the unemployment rate in Bali can be lowered via relevant indicators that local governments and policymakers can evaluate. The synergy of other indicators must be applied to further identify determinants.
Gde Indra Surya Diputra, I Made Risma M. This study explores the role of local wisdom, especially the values of Siri' na Pacce, cooperation, and communal solidarity, in maintaining the sustainability of public spaces amid rapid urbanization. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, this study conducts participatory observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to understand social dynamics in the management of public spaces. The results of the study show that despite changes due to urbanization, people still maintain cultural values in the use of public spaces. However, privatization and commercialization threaten community involvement in its management. Changes in social interaction patterns are also seen with the increasing use of digital platforms compared to physical meetings in public spaces. This research recommends culture-based strategies for more inclusive urban planning, by strengthening collaboration between governments, communities, and the private sector to ensure that public spaces remain part of society's social identity. Thus, local wisdom can continue to be the main pillar in maintaining the sustainability of public spaces in Makassar.
Djufri Djufri, Ansar Arifin, Muhammad Basir Copyright (c) 2025 Djufri Djufri, Ansar Arifin, Muhammad Basir https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3726 Thu, 06 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Innovation Strategy Based on Shiwam Satyam Sundharam to Increase Competitive Advantage in Wood Crafts in Gianyar Regency https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3764
Balinese handicraft products are synonymous with soul and art based on local wisdom values that become local knowledge and local skills as a form of originality that is not owned by other regions so that it will be easier for companies to achieve sustainable competitive advantage (Ife, 2002; Mardatillah et al., 2020). Wood handicraft SMEs in Bali Province are known to have a high artistic spirit, creativity and innovation and have their own characteristics or uniqueness. The artistic spirit is passed down from generation to generation and is an integral part of the daily activities of the craftsmen. This research uses quantitative research methods, which are based on the positivism paradigm. The analysis continued at the quantitative analysis stage based on multivariate analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Problems in the competitive advantage of wood handicraft SMIs in Bali can be seen from their low production value when compared to other existing industries. Bali as a craft center is certainly a large market for consumers both at home and abroad. This of course makes wood handicraft SMIs require a competitive advantage that can be highlighted and become a differentiator with other similar industrial products. This research was conducted on wood handicraft SMIs in Gianyar Regency. This is done because Gianyar is famous for its many wood craftsmen who have a high artistic spirit and creativity. The population of this study was all wood handicraft SMIs in Gianyar Regency which amounted to 476 businesses.
I Made Risma M Arsha, I Gede Aryana Mahayasa, I Made Suasti Puja Copyright (c) 2025 I Made Risma M Arsha, I Gede Aryana Mahayasa, I Made Suasti Puja https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3764 Tue, 11 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Global Value Chain and International Alliance Strategy: Analysis of Local Cocoa Commodities from West Sulawesi in the International Market https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3777
The lower cost of trade between countries has led to increased trade activities with the Global Value Chains (GVC) scheme and the International Alliance Strategy which have been proven to provide many benefits for countries, including accelerated industrialization, technology transfer, employment absorption, and increased industrial value. It investigates how M&A activities affect consumer perceptions, service quality, and brand trust. Using survey data from news articles & customers of companies that have undergone M&A between 2018 and 2023, this study uses a quantitative approach with statistical analysis, including regression models and correlation analysis, to assess shifts in customer sentiment. The results acknowledge that while M&A can create operational efficiencies and expand service offerings, they sometimes lead to short-term decrease in customer satisfaction due to service disturbance and brand identity changes. Customers possibly encounter uncertainty about the product quality, pricing readjustments, and consistency of the service, affecting their general satisfaction. Nevertheless, companies with effective post-M&A combination, containing transparent communication, service consistency, and customer engagement, may maintain customer loyalty. Furthermore, brand reputation and trustworthiness play a big role in building post-M&A consumer behavior. Customers tend to remain loyal when they recognize stability and upgraded benefits after the merger. This study examined the effectiveness of a Multiple Representation Strategy via Team-Based Representational Activities with Creative Exploration through Learning via Video in improving representational abilities on cell fundamentals. The research involved 20 undergraduate students from a 2019 Chemistry Education cohort. Using a Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model, students collaboratively produced educational videos based on lecture subtopics. Representational ability was assessed through five essay items aligned with indicators: verbal, visual, symbolic, integrated, and creative. Descriptive results showed verbal representation scored highest (M=84), followed by visual (M=78), while symbolic (M=65) and integrated (M=68) scored lowest. Regression analysis revealed verbal, visual, and integrated representations significantly predicted overall performance (p < 0.05), with verbal being the strongest predictor (β = 0.421). These findings suggest that the PJBL-video approach supports expressive and visual learning well but needs enhancement in fostering symbolic and integrative skills. The study highlights the importance of instructional strategies that encourage communication, creativity, and abstract reasoning. This study examines the impact of bank mergers on service quality in Indonesia, with a particular focus on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and brand trust across three different generations (gen X, millennials, & gen Z). Using qualitative methods, this research analyzes survey data derived from news articles and customer feedback from banks that underwent mergers between 2018 and 2023. The findings indicate that bank mergers often result in improved digital services, broader service offerings, and greater operational efficiency. However, they may also lead to short-term challenges, including service disruptions, policy changes, and shifts in brand identity. These disruptions can create uncertainty around product offerings, pricing, and service consistency, potentially affecting overall customer satisfaction. Nevertheless, banks that effectively manage post-merger integration—through transparent communication, consistent service delivery, and proactive customer engagement—are better positioned to retain customer loyalty. Moreover, brand reputation and perceived stability play a crucial role in shaping customer trust and retention following a merger. While mergers offer significant opportunities for growth and innovation, they also pose risks to customer relationships if not carefully managed. Therefore, understanding these dynamics is essential for banks seeking to address customer concerns, strengthen retention strategies, and realize the long-term benefits of mergers.
Gloria Alexander, Felicia Edlyn Tetimau, Adrian Mahendra, Nanik Linawati Copyright (c) 2025 Gloria Alexander, Felicia Edlyn Tetimau, Adrian Mahendra, Nanik Linawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/daengku/article/view/3882 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800
