The activities were carried out in several stages: needs analysis, technical training on UAV operation and mapping software, field practice mentoring, and evaluation of improvements in teachers’ and students’ competencies. The application of UAVs equipped with GPS and high-resolution cameras, combined with ArcGIS software, enabled mapping learning to become more interactive, contextual, and project-based. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in both teachers’ and students’ knowledge and skills in operating UAVs, processing spatial data, and producing digital thematic maps. The program also fostered greater student interest in learning and strengthened teachers’ capacity to integrate geospatial technology into the geography curriculum. This PKM recommends the continuation of training and curriculum development based on technology to support spatial literacy at the secondary school level.
2025-09-09T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Erman Syarif, Fathahillah, Abd Malik https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/mattawang/article/view/4292 GREAT Teaching Revolution through Gamification-AI-EdTech Training Realizing Mindful-Joyful Learning 2025-09-24T16:50:06+08:00 Purnama Ningsih [email protected] Afrillia Anggreni [email protected] Agussatriana Agussatriana [email protected] Dewi Satria Ahmar [email protected] Muhammad Fath Azzajjad [email protected]
21st century educational transformation requires teachers to be adaptive in using technology in learning. This community service program aimed to empower housewives through creativity-based waste management training so that paper and plastic waste could be transformed into useful and economically valuable products. The methods included socialization on types and benefits of recycling, hands-on training in crafting products from paper and plastic, and mentoring on product marketing. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, skills, and marketing understanding. Before the training, most participants were unfamiliar with recycling processes and product utilization. Afterward, all participants were able to produce creative products and apply basic marketing strategies, including the use of social media. Moreover, the majority expressed interest in starting small businesses based on recycled crafts. Thus, this program effectively enhanced the capacity of housewives to manage waste productively while opening sustainable creative economic opportunities.

Abstrak

Pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, khususnya kertas dan plastik, masih menjadi permasalahan di Kota Pontianak akibat rendahnya kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkannya. Data were collected through multiple techniques: (a) observation to examine participants’ engagement and skills during training, (b) interviews to explore participants’ responses and reflections on the program’s benefits, and (c) documentation of the promotional content produced by participants. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of improvement in digital literacy skills. The findings revealed a high level of enthusiasm among participants throughout the sessions, which covered the introduction of digital promotion tools (Google Sites), understanding digital ethics, and practical training in creating promotional content using Canva and CapCut. The main challenge identified was participants’ limited creativity in developing engaging and authentic content. The results indicate improved cultivation skills, increased availability of nutritious household food, and additional income from surplus sales. On average, households harvested 5–7 kg of vegetables weekly, with 40 mini gardens established during the program. Beyond economic benefits, the initiative fostered community solidarity, reduced organic waste through compost use, and created greener environments. The success of this program demonstrates that collective utilization of home yards can promote food self-sufficiency, support sustainable livelihoods, and provide a scalable model for rural development.
2025-09-27T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Supriadi, Andi Muhammad Ridho Yusuf https://jurnal.ahmar.id/index.php/mattawang/article/view/4311 Implementation and Research of Classroom Action Research (CAR) to Enhance Teacher Competence 2025-12-07T10:12:19+08:00 Reny Reny [email protected] Purnama Ningsih [email protected] Irwan Said [email protected] Baharuddin Hamzah [email protected] Sitti Aminah [email protected] Sri Hastuti Virgianti Pulukadang [email protected]
Low understanding among teachers regarding the concepts and benefits of Classroom Action Research (CAR) as a means of professional development is one of the main problems at SD Negeri 2 Labuan. Most teachers are not yet accustomed to systematically reflecting on their teaching practices thru classroom-based research. This resulted in very limited teacher participation in CAR activities, and the learning innovations that were supposed to emerge from this process were also hindered. To address this, the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Tadulako University conducted a Community Service (PkM) activity to improve teacher competence thru training and the implementation of Classroom Action Research. This activity included training, mentoring in preparing CAR as well as reflection and evaluation. The evaluation results show an 84% increase in teachers' understanding of CAR. Full support from the school and active participation from the teachers also contributed positively to the success of this activity.
2025-09-30T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Reny, Purnama Ningsih, Irwan Said, Baharuddin Hamzah, Sitti Aminah, Sri Hastuti Virgianti Pulukadang
